With the announcement of Black Ops 4, Treyarch has confirmed what many of us have speculated over for a while. Battle Royale is coming to Call of Duty. The mode, called Blackout, will feature aspects from all of the Black Ops games to date. It will combine maps, weapons, and characters from all four installments, including zombies, as well as introducing vehicles into the fray. While no gameplay was shown off at the presentation it is safe to assume the community will get more information at E3 or perhaps another gaming expo this summer.
Treyarch blew the doors wide open with this reveal presser showing off a multiplayer gameplay trailer as well as showcasing the three zombies maps that will be playable at launch. Although much of the Call of Duty community expected it, the team revealed Blood of the Dead; a remaster of fan favorite Mob of the Dead from Black Ops 2. This time around it will focus around the Origins crew of “Tank” Dempsey, Nikolai Belinski, Takeo Masaki, and Edward Richtofen.
